Prepare a 15-20 minute presentation in which you analyze the humanistic approaches to personality. Your presentation should address the following areas:

  • Compare Person-Centered theory with Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs.
  • Use Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs to discuss the extent to which growth needs influence personality formation.
  • Outline the main components of person-centered theory that contribute to personality development.
  • Identify which theory you relate to most, and explain why.

Include a clear introduction and conclusion in your presentation.

Include the two following augments to your presentation:

Supplement  your presentation with a short video, illustrating the concept of one of the theories presented.

 

Prepare a planned interactive element, designed to engage and capture the attention of your audience and highlight a specific concept of your presentation (asking, “Are there any questions?” at the end of the presentation is not an example of a planned interactive element).

Provide at least 3 to 4 peer-reviewed, scholarly References. Your References should be located on your final slide.
